EAS Validate
This tool validates an EAS file against the rules for the academic year inferred from its official filename. Rules are available for every year from 2018 to 2019 through 2026 to 2027. Use EAS Summary to review the file’s values, or EAS Compare to identify changes between two files.
Some rules need reference data that is not in the file. These are shown as manual checks with summaries to help you review them. The rules and valid values come from the DfE’s published 2018 to 2019 EAS specification and each subsequent annual specification through the 2026 to 2027 EAS specification.
